Hello [subscriber:firstname | default:subscriber],

You have been selected, as a manufacturer in the Charlotte region, to receive the CWTA Newsletter on a complimentary basis.

The Carolina World Trade Association (CWTA) works aggressively to connect, network, and educate businesses on topics of international trade significance and support area businesses engaged in global trade or seeking out opportunities to do so. We focus our programs and activities on research, resources, and networking opportunities to expand trading opportunities across the borders into Mexico or Canada or anywhere else around the globe.

In addition to holding monthly educational events and an annual awards dinner, CWTA maintains a website with valuable resources and sends out weekly educational and advocacy newsletters directly to you.

As we look forward to renewed business activity, we invite you/your company to join CWTA and help further our ambition to expand international trade in the Carolinas. No other organization in the Carolinas is as attuned to the multitude of area firms that are or want to be participating in international trade and as able to efficiently connect them with the right resources and the most appropriate people to enable or enhance their trade efforts.

CWTA is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) business association. Founded in 1964, CWTA is a chapter of the North Carolina World Trade Association (NCWTA), which promotes the growth of trade between North Carolina and the world by providing education and networking opportunities for our global ecosystem. CWTA has a long history with manufacturers, distributors, logistics, shipping, and trade service entities from across the Carolinas in forging productive and profitable trade opportunities.

CWTA’s mission is to foster, promote, and encourage international commerce success and to expand economic growth in the Carolinas region. We do this by:
  • Advocating the interests of businesses engaged in international trade on local, regional, state, and federal levels;
  • Educating businesses and their employees to the resources, issues, policies, and practices within international trade;
  • Promoting regional assets and opportunities for expanding inbound and outbound international commerce; and
  • Networking and celebrating the successes of international trade in the region.
If you or your business is not already a member of CWTA, please take this opportunity to consider the importance of international trade in our individual lives as well as our community’s prosperity and join our collective effort to promote international trade education and advocacy.
